all people with dietary preferences beware.Where to start. we ordered in for a special event, I ordered the vegetarian pasta tagliatelle. the taste was good at the start thought the first thing we noted was that it wasn't really proper tagliatelle but the cheaper fettuccine you can purchase in the shops. we thought, oh well...though we were excited about getting a proper Italian pasta when we ordered. taste is alright and we carried on. then I noticed grit while I ate, might be the veg not cleaned properly or whatever but it was unpleasant to chew. I was hungry and it was late so, what else can you do but just eat, not this much wouldn't have made me complain. we usually understand that mistakes happen or people might have different opinions about small things. carry on. next thing you know, I find a piece of chicken meat in the pasta! this is horrible,considering I don't eat meat, ever.next day I rang and complained. the manager/owner argued with me by institute that it wasn't fettuccine, then kind of stopped when I mentioned the grit and meat, he did say sorry and that he is vegetarian too so he understands. and said something about a pot might have been shared to cook in for dishes or something. suggested that he can give me a free pasta next time I ordered. I asked instead for a refund. he agreed, asked to text him my details. suffice it to say that I rang 5 times in total, I was polite and gentle but firm, as excuses were made, once he preteded to not be the owner but the manager and took my number again, closing the phone saying I'm sorry you had meat in your pasta (I didn't mention this on the call till he said it, how would he know me and my complaint without being the same person I spoke to earlier and sound the same? ) .I got the refund for just that one dish after 2 weeks + of asking and waiting. not even decent enough to refund the while bill? after so much? so anyhow,all people with intolerance or dietary preferences, beware! I'm sorry to write this for any small business,but you were given plenty of chances to make this better. thanks for refunding me what you did after all that.

customer service 10/10 food 10/10first time coming here after driving past all the time thinking it looked pretty average from the outside, how silly of me. the inside is a cute little italian styled diner with a front and back section decorated with photos and beautiful lantern chandeliers. the chips were quite nice, but the pizza i ordered? the best meat lovers pizza i have ever eaten and i am picky. the crust was magnificent, lovely level of cheese, beautiful meats, i couldn’t finish it but i happily took it home to eat later. i will be coming here regularly going forward and the customer service was awesome. i only saw 3 workers and all of them were extremely friendly and kind. 10/10 customer service 10/10 food

Had lunch there today, great service and perfectly seasoned food, highly recommend it

We have been customers for years and I'm sad to say the quality of the meals and charm it once had has gone seriously downhill since it changed hands. My meal had much less spaghetti than you used to get and the 'sauce' was very watery, not thick or creamy like it used to be but the garlic bread was still to die for. The recent renovation has sucked all the charm out of this little restaurant and it feels cheap and tacky. Disappointed. Probably wont be back.

Went for lunch. Both had pizzas. Mine was good but other half had seafood pizza. The sauce was a little runny so all had to be eaten with a knife and fork. Good recant makeover but table sizes are way too small for comfort. Table for 2 smaller than my bedside table at home. Already when seated there was a cutlery holder, drinks and a dessert menu in place.. Water and glasses were brought and our wine and wine glasses. Hardly room for the pizzas. We did not partake of water because there was just no room. Just not comfortable.Are we the only ones with this issue?

We have always loved this restaurant and always had a great experience and delicious food. Tonight was a huge disappointment. The meals were not as delicious as I remember and we were served our mains whilst still eating our entrees. Not the place we remember and definitely not as busy. Sad to see.

As always, this was a wonderful lunch experience. Service was friendly, prices reasonable and food so yummy!! Thank you

A lovely romantic setting inside. Felt like I was in Italy. The staff were very friendly and service was exceptional. We barley waited 10 min fir our meals to come out. The sizes were perfect and tasted delicious. I will be back again.

Newly refurbished , our beautiful local traditional Italian restaurant. Firstly I must say the refurb is fantastic. Great decor. Very comfortable surroundings, nicely set out. Food is still great, same menu perhaps should introduce a few different specials, but we love it. Prices are reasonable, friendly staff. Highly recommended. Licensed and BYO.
